“If You Suffer From Chronic Pain or Other Ailments, And Prescription Drugs or Conventional Medicine Have Failed To Produce the Desired Results…”
There is a Natural, Safe, Effective and Drug Free Option…
If you’ve tried conventional medical treatments without results, or you’re concerned about the risks and side effects of prescription drugs, you should consider acupuncture.
Hello, my name is Jon Posner. I’m a licensed acupuncturist and the co-founder of The Center for Mindful Health and Acupuncture in South Jersey.
Did you know that in the 20th century, acupuncture and Chinese medicine served more than 2 billion people in Asia, the former Soviet Union and Europe?
Acupuncture can help where other forms of treatment have failed and the best part is there are no side effects.
Jon Posner is a licensed acupuncturist and the co-founder of The Center for Mindful Health and Acupuncture in South Jersey.
Things to Consider if You’ve Never Tried Acupuncture:
More than 20 million Americans have used acupuncture
Medical doctors refer their patients to acupuncturists more than any other “alternative" care provider
The NIH and World Health Organization have both given formal approval of certain uses of acupuncture
Growing numbers have sought out acupuncturists for chronic pain and health problems when conventional medicine either hasn’t worked nor has answers
In a 1998 review of physician surveys, 51% of physicians believed acupuncture to be efficacious and of value
What Every Person Ought to Know About Acupuncture
There are in fact changes that happen in our bodies when acupuncture is performed. Consider the scientific theories below as evidence of this truth:
- Studies using radioactive tracers have shown that acupuncture channels (meridians) are in fact distinct channels that are separate from blood vessels and lymph vessels.
- Acupuncture points on the body generally have a higher electrical resistance than surrounding tissue.
- The conduction of electricity through our bodies is faster through the meridians than it is through the rest of the body.
- An electrical charge initiated at one acupoint can be received at a distant point on the same meridian.
- The acupuncture needle can act as an antenna and attract electromagnetic energy to pass it into tissue.
- Acupuncture also makes the brain release neuropeptides that are helpful in relieving pain.
- Another theory claims that needles can jam the pathways and prevent pain signals from reaching the brain.
Does Acupuncture Hurt?
Generally, acupuncture does not hurt. Some people feel the needles as they go in, and some people feel nothing. Acupuncture needles are solid needles, not hollow like hypodermic needles, and they are much, much thinner – about the diameter of a thick human hair. Some patients often feel a slight tingling sensation and others might feel a mild, dull ache indicating the acupuncture point is being activated and the treatment is working.

“For over 10 years now our fertility center has been referring our patients to learn more about traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture from Jon Posner. Jon was an early pioneer in South Jersey to specialize in female fertility matters. He knows well what patients are experiencing when they go through in vitro fertilization procedures. At least 3 randomized trials have pointed to higher pregnancy rates when acupuncture is performed immediately before and after the transfer of an embryo to the uterus. Jon comes to our center in Marlton to perform the acupuncture in a timely manner so the patient doesn’t need to do extra traveling on the day of embryo transfer. I frequently hear from our patients that they appreciate Jon’s abundant one-on-one communication regarding their health questions and specifically about improving their fertility. I whole-heartedly recommend Jon to women trying to build their family.”*

“Thanks for your expertise and skill with acupuncture during my long journey. My baby truly is a miracle! Your calm reassurance and soothing manner helped me greatly throughout my pregnancy. You’re the “Miracle Man!” (At least in Hammonton!)”*
-Renee C.
“I know that this note is very late, but I haven’t forgotten about you. I truly want to express my most sincere thanks for everything that you did for me in helping to bring my dreams to reality. Our healthy little boy, Lorenzo J. McFadden III, was born on February 9, 2009 at 11:35 PM. He is the picture of perfection and the apple of our eyes. We couldn’t be more in love with anyone.
We are so grateful and thankful for everything you did. Every treatment you provided, every question that you answered, every kind word given was all so important in us getting to this point. Your work is so special and invaluable. The process to get where we are wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. We wouldn’t have our little boy if not for you. Thank you so much for everything!”*
-Tiffanie M.
“Thank you so much for all that you’ve done to help me on my path to motherhood. There isn’t a doubt in my mind that I’m where I am today because of you. Your acupuncture treatments not only helped me to become pregnant, they’ve changed my thinking about ‘life’s little problems’. I’ll be forever grateful for all that you’ve done.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”*
-Erica B.
“Words cannot begin to express our thanks for all you have done for us in making this miracle possible! Ben came out of the NICU at Voorhees on 10/27 & is doing great! He is up to 5lbs. 5oz, happy and normal – just small but fully expected to catch up in his 1st year. If you ever have a patient who needs to talk to a prior client have them contact me. Anything you need, call.
Thank you again for your skill, compassion & overall friendship.”*
-Linda P.
“I got online to look up your address and see you have a website up. It looks great!! Our girls were born early because I came down with pre-eclampsia. They were in the NICU for three weeks and came home Feb 11th (Regan) and Feb 13th (Ryan). They will be 8 weeks old tomorrow!! Amazing!
My sincerest thanks for everything you did to help make our little miracles a reality. You played an essential role in my conception and sanity. You and the fertility center helped us realize our pregnancy and beautiful babies after 4 years of heart break and disappointment.
I wish you, your family and your business much happiness, peace, and success. I have become a true believer in the benefits and success of acupuncture and will definitely recommend you to anyone I know who is endeavoring in fertility treatments.
Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart!!”*
